AOL is apparently starting to bill for the end of my six month free trial. Everytime I log in to cancel, the billing page does an endless loop of reloading, never taking me to where I want to go, which is to see when my trial expires. SO now I have to call them to cancel, because God knows the greatest internet service in the world can't let you cancel by actually logging into the service itself.
And, my good buddys at Stamps.com decided to change my plan, $4.99 plus 10% of postage to a $16 a month plan. I'm sorry, but at $16 a month, I'll drive my butt to the post office and wait in line.
So can I cancel online? Hell no. Gotta call them too.
Moral of the story..... cancellation is your last chance to leave a good impression. If you don't it's rare anyone will come back.
